Lady Libertas Salute to Fort Hood

Lady Libertas salutes Fort Hood – the heroes, the victims, the families…My heart and my prayers go out to everyone at Fort Hood who could not help but be touched by the evil actions of Nidal Hasan this week.

The Lily-Livered Libs can make all the excuses that they want about this Terrorist but Terrorist is what he is.  How convenient that his religion did not stop him from taking money from the US military to go to medical school or taking advantage of all the benefits of being a member of the Armed Services throughout the years. Doctor Phil and all the other bleeding heart Libs can speak about poor Nidal Hasan and his reasons that he went over the edge but Lady Libertas would like to focus on the victims –  Our brave men and women who fought for our freedom and survived, only to be gunned down by the enemy within.

Evil is Evil no matter what excuse it had in the commission of murder and I hope the coward, Nidal Hasan, survives so that his victims and their families may face him and see justice.

Friday Night Candlelight Vigil at Fort Hood

Remember
by Christina Rosetti

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann’d:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
